Southeast-Hampshire Youth Orchestra (SHYO)!
The Southern Music Project CIC and the Havant Symphony Orchestra proudly present the Southeast-Hampshire Youth Orchestra (SHYO), a brand new ensemble created in January 2024. Geared towards students in full-time education, we extend a warm invitation to Grade 6+ orchestral musicians to join us on this musical journey!
About SHYO:
Rehearsal Venue: Join us at the Pallant Centre in Havant on selected days (mostly Sundays) during term time, from 10:00 to 18:00.
Mission: SHYO aims to fill a gap in the region's youth orchestras, providing students with the opportunity to learn and rehearse orchestral repertoire.
Expert Guidance: With the generous support of local music teachers, our rehearsals offer valuable guidance to enhance technical skills and musicianship.
